Marseille France

Jim was in charge of this port- Marseilles. We located a company that took us to the area of Aix Provence but couldn't take us as far as the lavender fields (2 hour each way) & the lavender wasn't quite ready yet. The company was:One Day in Provence Tour
The tour description: Marseille and Cassis. Drive to Marseille and visit Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde Basilica and enjoy a panoramic view over the Phocean city. Walking tour around le Panier, visit the Cathedral “La Major”, the Mucem and fort saint-John. We drive then to the little fishing port of Cassis which is famous for its location itself between cliffs, sea and vineyards and for its Calanques (kind of little fjords with high limestone cliffs). We will go to the top of the cliff of Cap Canaille to have a breathtaking view of the port and the Provencal countryside. We didn't spend time in the Calanques like I thought we would, but loved that we got to the market in Provence.

We met our driver & started the day in the town of Provence
We got to visit the town on market day!

We were supposed to meet our guide at the church but we got lost

                                                   We found her! Hello Delphine!
