Eurostar via the Chunnel London to Paris

We rode through the Chunnel from London to Paris. It was similar to boarding a plane except that you didn't know what gate until 20 minutes before boarding and you walked your luggage up an incline.
 London pre-boarding:

We had a table between us.
 Top speed 186 mph

 Breakfast-

2 hours and 20 minute ride
 In Paris-

Very pleasant and efficient and you won't lose your luggage on Air France!

London Shard Play & High Tea

This day was altered due to our friends needing to network through the health system in the UK. It was also my friend's birthday who was having medical issues. I had hoped for a nicer day for her. She was a good sport as always-
We went to High Tea at Bea's of Bloomsbury. They were gracious and allowed us to wait until she was out of her medical appointment.

We then went to the Shard where they would not let her in due to sandals. Luckily I had Danskos in my backpack. My son pointed out that he thinks a lady in the bar at the Shard is wearing sandals!

Then we went to a pub where i made Dan angry by asking directions and then to the play the School of Rock. The play was good. We were all getting tired at this point.

I hope Ronda had a nice day. It was at least memorable!

Harry Potter World London

Our travel companions had only watched Harry Potter #6 and had not read the books. They were very gracious to suggest that we spend the day here! We were grateful. This is located about an hour by bus outside of London. We appreciated the foot rests!

We had purchased tickets in advance and lined up for a short wait. As we waited we were able to explain the brief story line to our friends. Ronda had a birthday the next day, so she got to open the doors to the Great Hall.
The wonder of the eyes of the children, along with their dress was very cute.

Here's where we waitied.
 Ronda opening the doors
Entering the great Hall (The ceiling was added in- Harvard's dining hall!)

They had a green screen that you could get pictures added in for a fee- so we did!

This structure was huge-
After a quick trip to the gift shop, we headed back to London.
