Some people don't get off the ship here. That baffles me as this was a favorite port of mine. I think it's because of the shorter window that you get on the island.
We caught a taxi (which I had read could be difficult) at the end of the pier & went about 20 minutes east to Playa De Palma to catch a trip advisor tour

You meet in front of a restaurant and it was just the 4 of us!
The water was so clear it rivaled the South Pacific waters off of Lifou!
It was cold!The guys got out & snorkeled then went jumping off the rocks. I stayed in the boat because I wasn't interested in getting wet.

They stopped and offered a higher cliff jump, but we declined
A nice white wine to kick off lunch by the seaside.
Even their bottled water was pretty

We returned to the ship ...after a quick stop at the Hard Rock Cafe in Palma de Mallorca for my pin. Kudos to the taxi driver- she pulled it off!
Tonight we are eating at Izumi the hibachi grill on the ship.
