Mykonos, Greece

We had a day planned at St. John's Resort. I learned of this option on cruisecritic.com ports of call forum. Great source of information.

We were supposed to meet a van at 8:30. We had met 2 other couples joining us. One couple lives only a few miles from our home! The other couple, the Keehn's, were US Postal employees (like my father). We were beginning to doubt our plans, but then a van arrived from St. John's Resort.
The weather was cold and rainy.
Many turned around and decided to have another ship day.
We arrived at the resort. It was beautiful. The wind died down and the sun came out.
The lobby was rather fancy, but what awaited us outside looked like something out of a magazine.

We were excited to be here. It was gorgeous. I'll let the pictures do the talking:

 Food was fantastic-

 Down to the sea-

 It was still so cold!

I left my cousin Tom Gumbert's book called "Nine Lives" because there were a few cats about the property and it felt like the right place to read this story.

We headed back to the ship around 4pm. What a great day we had.
