Lagoons & Falls- Iceland Day 3

We spent the night past Vik, unfortunately it was cloudy. This spot would be perfect for viewing the Northern lights!

The next morning we had a nice buffet and headed out to Diamond beach & a duck boat ride on  Jokulsarlon Glaicial Lagoon

It was a beautiful but very cold Duck boat ride!
We approached "Hollywood Glacier" and the sun came out and started to finally warm up! I'd like to get back there in January or February for the ice caves!Vatnajokull Glacier tours with Arctic Adventures

It was their fall and you can see the moss and flora changing to fall colors

                              Skógafoss

Lost in Space was being filmed here 9/6-9/7 . Lucky for us it was 9/8
There are 400 + steps to get to the top. Jim went up and said he felt the best view was from below.

The water coming off the falls was so powerful! You will get wet! And Water-resistant clothing won't spare you!

                           Seljalandsfoss

Now this fall you could walk around or behind it. The rocks were a tad slick so take your time! Our guide says it's more slick on the right hand side.

                                                          See the people behind it?

                                                      Look I'm behind a waterfall?!

We ended the day back in Reykjavic at a nice hotel but they didn't have the Stacy's in our hotel. We met at a restaurant called  Hlemmurmatholl Food Hall across the street from the The Icelandic Phalllological Museum
