Wow Airlines

We ended up in Iceland when we saw a new airline come to town offering low fares to Iceland. Uncharacteristic of us- we jumped. We flew nonstop from CVG at 1250 AM (Yes A.M.!) into KEF landing just after 11 am. A 6- 6.5 hour flight. We paid for extra leg room (1 inch) on the way there and rode economy on the way home. RT airfare $430 pp. We thought we were smart getting the 2 seats in the back of the upgraded section. They failed to show you it was the stewardess jump seat. I rode shoulder to shoulder with her as we landed and took off. In hind site- aisle 10 is the best seat option even if it's an emergency row exit. Our friends paid $700+ for wide seats upfront that reclined, but the staff talked loudly, nonstop. The nickel & dime is similar to Frontier. Sandwiches cost $10, water $3 and onboard entertainment consisted of $25 Ipad rental. It was an okay option for a cheap transport. I'd do again- but row 10 & download a movie!
